Art for the people. Hunting for delight and beauty in daily life.

Maybe, life is a dance. Life is a tango of monotonous motions repeated throughout chunks of time, sliced into equally-thick pieces like white bread on my small planner. Between our calculated operations of plasma rectangle screens, steady fingers typing away on ordered blocks, and all other mechanical executions, where can we find our quintessential “humanity?” Is it buried under a pile of waste paper, or does it float above our heads like clouds? Maybe, “humanity” wanders along the silvered street between the spacebar and the command button on a keyboard, like a small raccoon exploring catacombs of neon lights at night. Does it rise like wisps of water vapor jumping from the blacksmith’s hammer, escaping the smelted, liquid beginnings of a steel sword? Or, does it open its eyes, puffy from a long nap, between the last note of a symphonic movement and the first ring of the next?

In twisted figures and faces, I harken back to our animalistic beginnings. Can this human-animal walk only on the vast African savanna, or can I likewise sit, content, in an abstract landscape? My art is an exploration of my organic human self and the acknowledgment of yours.
